Loop CEE luxury travel fair makes Its Middle East debut in Abu Dhabi
Over 100 top tour operators and agents from 16 countries will attend, engaging in over 6,200 one-on-one meetings with exhibitors.
Abu Dhabi: The inaugural Loop CEE luxury travel fair will be held in Abu Dhabi. Titled "Loop Beyond Borders," the event will take place from September 15-17 at the Saadiyat Rotana Resort and Villas in Abu Dhabi, followed by September 18-19 at the Anantara Qasr Al Sarab in Al Dhafra.
Organized by the Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi (DCT Abu Dhabi) and Miral, the fair aims to connect distinguished local hospitality brands with high-end buyers, travel partners, and agents from Central and Eastern Europe.

Abu Dhabi's growing appeal
The emirate has witnessed a surge in tourism from Central and Eastern Europe, with guest numbers from Bulgaria, Romania, Poland, and the Czech Republic increasing significantly in the first five months of 2024 compared to the previous year.
Abdullah Yousuf, Director of International Operations at DCT Abu Dhabi, expressed enthusiasm for the event, highlighting its role in strengthening ties with the region and promoting Abu Dhabi as a world-class luxury destination.
Taghrid AlSaeed, Executive Director of Group Communications and Destination Marketing at Miral, emphasized the significance of hosting the event on Saadiyat Island, known for its luxury offerings and cultural attractions.
Astrid Oberhummer, Founder and CEO of Loop, expressed pride in collaborating with DCT Abu Dhabi to bring the event to the Middle East. She highlighted the strong partnership between Abu Dhabi and Loop, and the potential of the event to introduce the destination to a wider luxury travel audience.
The Loop Beyond Borders event is expected to significantly contribute to Abu Dhabi's luxury tourism sector and strengthen its position as a global travel destination.
